The '''Nugget Incident''' refers to the time [[Chess Simp]] temporarily banned [[Nugget]] for "politics" on April 21st, 2025. <br />

[[Nugget]] posted a collection of images paired with the caption "wtf is this flag", with the intention of asking what the flag was since he didn't recognize it. All of the images came from the 9th challenge of the [[Pezut Games]], Pezguessr. [[Chess Simp]], however, had mistaken it as defamation against a particular nation, so on his own volition banned him permanently for politics. <br />

The ban lead to loud outcry in the community base, upset that Chess Simp had unfairly banned someone for something people had broken many times before. <br />
<br />
Chess Simp eventually reduced the ban to 1 day but the ban lead [[Kan]] to create the Nugget Community, which would eventually become the [[Main Page|Chess Rock Community]]. <br />
<br />
[[Kan]] advertising the server eventually lead to his own permanent ban for advertising and the situation snowballed until the server base eventually all permanently migrated to the Chess Rock Community.<br />

As a result, the Chess Simp Community today, despite some tiny efforts, is no longer as active as it was before, as the member base has mostly moved to the Chess Rock Community.<br />
