'''The Chess Refuge''' ''(formerly known as Chess Simp Tournaments)'' is the first offspring server of the [[Chess Simp Community]] made in August 29th, 2022 by [[TampliteSK]]. The Chess Refuge was originally created to be a place for Chess Simp Community members to easily host tournaments, since there weren't any moderators to help them host yet. Since then, it has stopped doing tournaments but evolved into its own community with its own interests, ranging from chess to Scrabble to Battle Cats and more, with most of the members preferring to stay there instead of the main community. The server suffered from loads of drama, typically from controversial members like Vista, Rick, Glacia, Anti, Haven and Momoh, and because of that, along with the creation of the Chess Rock Community, activity has since dwindled, but it still has decent activity from time to time.
