NotBaltic (otherwise informally known as nb or baltic) is a prominent and semi-active member of the Chess Rock Community. She is one of the four cops of the predecessor "Chess Simp Community" and the co-owner of the sister server "The Chess Refuge". She is one of the only members to have boosted the server and to have gifted nitro in the server. She is Vietnamese, transgender and was born December 25th, 2007. She is also the girlfriend of Sealandball.

Biography

Unfortunately, the original video that got her into watching Chess Simp is now unknown, and her original join date is now lost to history, with the earliest instance of her in the Chess Simp Community found only in early June 2022. She remained a semi-active member of the Chess Simp Community, only getting into a Chess Simp video once in a Q&A.

She eventually became the third cop after recommendation from TampliteSK, but her activity soon after dwindled due to community resistance to change and her preferring the Chess Simp Tournaments (now The Chess Refuge).

Only in late March 2025 did she finally return to being active with active participation in the Shares Economy and Simp Town, both activities she dearly enjoyed. It was also when she got to know more of the current member-base of the Chess Rock Community.

Though, soon after in April of the same year, numerous controversial decisions by Chess Simp lead to the creation of the Chess Nugget Community (what'd become the Chess Rock Community today), where she purposely avoided moderating due to her already moderating two Chess Simp related servers at the time.

She was rarely involved in the drama during the May-June 2025 period of the community, other than the time she left in protest of several people's rape jokes. Otherwise she was a decently active member and started the 0SMP as a promise from April with modest success and little trouble.

She boosted the server on September 12th, 2025, becoming one of the only members to do so, and hosted a few events where she would gift Nitro Basic to winners; the first one being a roulette wheel where silvy won and the second one being a puzzle where sted solved it the quickest.

Love Life

The time NotBaltic called Sealandball her "best chess friend" in November 26th, 2022

NotBaltic is very well known for having a relationship with Sealandball, another prominent member of the Chess Rock Community and one of the other cops of the Chess Simp Community. Their relationship is commonly referred to as the ship name "Seabalt".

NotBaltic first met Sealandball in the Chess Simp Community in late 2022, where they quickly bonded over their similar interests in countryballs and became "best chess friends" soon after on November 26th. She also came out as transgender to Sealandball the day after, attempting to bond further with him.

They remained close friends, with occasional shipping from members in The Chess Refuge until September 2023 when they finally started considering dating each other and flirting. They only officially started their relationship on November 27th, 2023, a full year after the "best chess friends" interaction.

To this day, their relationship remains; and they are well known to be the only two people in the Chess Rock Community to be in a relationship together.

NotBaltic has made several contributions to the Chess Simp related communities as a whole.

Chess Simp Community

• Added Unbelievaboat, an economy bot with the !roll command
• Added emojis to channel names, setting a good theme for the server

The Chess Refuge

• Head administrator and co-owner of the server
• Reformed the entire server by adding numerous channels and making permissions and channel formatting consistent
• Adding theory channels for people to learn from, but were rarely used
• Creator of the role hierarchy of the server, starting from Pawns (members) to Knights (advisors) to Rooks (moderators) to Queen and King (co-owners)

Chess Rock Community

• Original creator of the -1 iron sticker, the HEY sticker, and the 1433 sticker
• Boosted the server to level 1
• Gifted nitro to members of the server
• Hosted the 0SMP, a Minecraft SMP specifically for the Chess Rock Community
